Rhodes port facilities

You can find covered waiting areas and many cafes, restaurants, bars, ATMs, generally everything you need in the city of Rhodes which is within walking distance of the port.

In the summer months the port can become quite chaotic with long queues for cars. So please arrive at least one hour in advance if travelling by car.

Getting to and from the port

By car

The main harbour of Acandia is 3 km outside of town. Coming from town you will first pass the cruise ships harbour and continue. It isn't well signposted but it should be clear when you reach the port area.

There is a taxi rank located outside the harbour. You should normally have few issues finding a taxi close to when your ferry arrives or departs.
bus

By Bus

For the main harbour of Acandia there is a bus stop at the front of the port. But coming from the airport, the bus will stop at Mandraki harbour and you may need to take another bus or a taxi. You can also walk there, but the distance is about 3km and it will take about 25 minutes.
