The Athens to Andros ferry is operated by three ferry companies: Blue Star Ferries, Golden Star Ferries and Cyclades Fast Ferries - often called simply Fast Ferries. This route connects Athens to the Cyclades and you can take your car on this route or travel as a foot passenger. This route is offered by fast craft and conventional ferries.

From Athens you can travel from the port of Rafina as well as the port of Lavrio.

From Rafina the average sailing time is 1 hour and 32 minutes, while from Lavrio there is one infrequent sailing with a time of 8 hours and 20 minutes. From Rafina, the quickest crossing is from Golden Star Ferries and lasts 1 hour and 5 minutes.

Crossings from Athens to Andros, from Lavrio and Rafina, are available throughout the whole year. In the high season there are about 29 crossings per week.

From Rafina, the distance is just 66 kilometres, that's about 41 miles or 36 nautical miles. From Lavrio, the distance is 68.07 kilometres, that's about 42 miles or 37 nautical miles. However, the exact distance may depend on the route you take. The average price is for one person by foot in the summer is about 15 euros. For foot passengers travelling one way the the cheapest average price is from Rafina at about 19.50 euros. From Lavrio the cheapest average price is 10.50 euros.
